A new breadcrumb factory was opened in the east of the region by the Food Products Group

The investment project will meet the needs of not only a group of companies, but also the largest manufacturers in the region.

On Friday, Governor Alexey Besprozvannykh took part in the grand opening ceremony of the plant.

The governor emphasized that the establishment of a large-scale production facility in the eastern part of the region will have a positive impact on the attractiveness of this area for residents, as it will create new job opportunities.

A new breadcrumbs factory in Gusev with a capacity of 750 tons of finished products per month has been opened by Promagroinvest LLC (Food Products Group).

The project has been invested 250 million rubles. The factory is equipped with the latest technologies and equipment that guarantee the high quality and safety of the products. This facility will produce about 9 thousand tons of breadcrumbs per year.

It is expected that the plant's products will be used not only for the needs of the group's production facilities, but will also allow regional producers of culinary and other food products to reduce their dependence on imported raw materials, including imported ingredients.

The Governor emphasized the importance of this project for increasing the region's self-sufficiency.

"In the current circumstances, this project is particularly significant for the region's economy. The establishment of such a large-scale production complex aims to address crucial strategic challenges in ensuring food security and sustainability in regional food supply chains. The plant will become an important link in the regional economy, reducing the risks of disruptions in the supply of ingredients and contributing to the development of industry and agriculture in the Kaliningrad region," said Alexey Besprozvannykh.

In turn, the founder of the group of companies, Stefano Vlahovich, noted that the opening of a factory for the production of breadcrumbs is designed to cover the shortage of these products in the region.

"This project was implemented as part of the import substitution support program. Previously, such breading was mainly imported from abroad. After the imposition of sanctions, there was a shortage of both simple and complex breading, as well as breading with functional additives, on the Russian market. Today, there are not many production facilities in Russia that are willing to do this on such a large scale. I am confident that our product will be in demand not only by our production facilities, but also by other manufacturing companies. We will be able to satisfy a significant portion of the market in this regard,
